Summary
The Director IT Finance will be responsible for SunPower’ s Finance process optimization around Record to Report, Source to Pay (focus on payable), Order to Cash (focus on cash), Cash Management, Tax Planning, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), and Fixed Assets process areas, and associated IT solutions. This individual will have primary IT leadership for this process area working closely with key business stakeholders including Finance Global Process Owners to drive all aspects of business transformation and IT support.
This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Application Delivery and will be responsible for leadership in the following areas:
1. Drive the IT change initiatives within Finance focused around Record to Report, Fixed Assets, Source to Pay (focus on payables), Order to Cash (focus on cash), and Cash Management & Treasury process areas as the Finance Business IT partner
2. Focus on reducing financial close cycle time, maximizing the automation of controls, and meeting required statutory and legal requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Duties:
• Achieve stakeholder agreement on priorities and alignment on business needs including funding and resourcing to support finance IT initiatives
• Partner with senior IT management and peers to define application roadmap to ensure a scalable and effective IT application infrastructure
• Drive multiple finance improvement initiatives
• Define measuring metrics and key performance objectives that address capability development, business adoption , and business outcome achievement
Key Responsibilities:
• Extensive knowledge of ERP Oracle Finance Applications platform
• Client-facing Skills: business networking, consulting and partnering
• Strong verbal and written communication / presentation abilities, including facilitation, negotiation, presentation and demonstration
• Excellent organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good people management skills, including recruiting, mentoring, and career development.
• Deep expertise and successful working experience with IT Service Providers covering all phases of the systems development lifecycle
• Hands on experience with all aspects of the project lifecycle, including detailed deliverable development as well as team management at all levels.
• Strong analytical capabilities (market, financial, operations)
Education and Experience
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, information technology or related field; Master’s Degree or CPA is a plus.
• 12+years Oracle eBusiness Suite Applications implementation experience across all major Finance and Supply Chain modules including General Ledger, Receivables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Order Management, Purchasing and Payables (11x/R12) with at least two successful Finance implementations; Hyperion FPM experience is a plus
• 10+ years program management experience, preferably at a ‘Big 4’ Consulting firm.
• Proven leadership and influencing abilities from core team up through executive levels.
• Strong stakeholder management, communications, and facilitation experience across the full lifecycle of complex products.
• Proven ability to hire, train and motivate a team.
• Content based leadership, with a clear focus on both planning and execution
Qualifications
• Experience with other ERP applications and Agile “Scrum” development are considered a plus
• Capable of successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Minimum travel required to engage with business managers, users and subject matter experts.
