OPOWER is looking for a Director of Corporate Communications & Media Strategy to spearhead all company's external communication efforts. We're looking for a highly intelligent, energetic professional with a track record of building brand awareness, driving key messages home with reporters and journalists and effectively executing a comprehensive communication strategy across multiple channels. The Director of Communications will be responsible for promoting the next iteration of OPOWER's corporate brand and messaging with the goal to elevate the firm from a leading industry player to a national brand. The role will own and oversee all corporate communications, including PR, analysts relations, website updates, social media, emails, newsletters, blogs and various corporate speaking appearances. The role will also require working closely with our regulatory and market development team to develop and execute media strategies to advance the company's policy and regulatory goals.
This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing & Strategy.
