Supervisor: Executive Vice President, Construction
Description: Lead multiple construction management teams to deliver quality solar projects on time and under the estimated budget. Motivate the RES Americas teams, clients and subcontractors working at the site and maintain a safe working environment. Have experience with large scale solar photovoltaic and CSP projects preferred. Have experience with conventional power block (Combined Cycle, Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine) construction is advantageous.
Responsibilities:

Ensure projects are constructed safely. |
2. |
Project manage more than one worksite at a time. |
3. |
Provide client satisfaction, budget control, profitability, quality control, contract compliance, problem resolution and project personnel management. |
4. |
Ensure projects are built on schedule and under budget. |
5. |
Ensure projects are built to local and national standards with regards to building codes and environmental standards. |
6. |
Have full technical and management authority for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating project assignments. |
7. |
Responsible for the technical quality, accuracy, and standards adherence of engineering and design drafting for the project. Work with the engineering and technical groups ensuring work outputs comply with standards and meet contract requirements. |
8. |
Familiarity with and ability to stay current regarding changing regulatory requirements. |
9. |
Strategic planning and Project management of future projects. |
Requirements:
1. |
Minimum 10-15 years of proven experience with general contractor that includes a proven track record of managing large capital-industrial/utility construction projects. |
2. |
Need expertise and the necessary skills to interface with the client and will be instrumental in delivering on time, cost effective projects. |
3. |
Have a minimum 10 years of Management experience. |
4. |
Experience with thermal-cycle power plants. |
5. |
Familiarity with and ability to learn new emerging solar technologies. |
6. |
Have industry contacts and the ability to develop new solar construction leads. |
7. |
Skill in MS Office and Outlook. |
8. |
ABILITY TO TRAVEL, living at worksite for approximately 9 months, returning to an office location between projects. Per diems provided. |
Education:
BS Engineering degree in construction related areas such as Civil, Structural, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
