The Organisation
350.org is building a global grassroots movement to solve the climate crisis. Online campaigns, grassroots organising, and mass public actions are led from the bottom up by thousands of volunteer organisers in over 188 countries. As a laboratory for the best ways to strengthen the climate movement and catalyse transformation around the world, 350.org works hard to organize in a new way—everywhere at once, using online tools to facilitate strategic offline action The Role 350.org is looking to recruit an experienced digital campaigning, organising, mobilising strategist who is committed to ending the age of fossil fuels. With an extensive background in building and managing teams you will support the development and implementation of savvy and aligned online-offline strategies across campaigning, mobilising, and organising in pursuit of global and regional goals. You will work closely with the senior program team and other key digital, organising, campaigning and communications staff to reach new audiences, provide easy and impactful ways for people to join our movement, and support in-depth organizing with a range of digital tools and tactics. This opportunity is open to people anywhere in the world. Skills Required The ideal candidate will have experience in leading geographically dispersed teams, working collaboratively across cultures and time zones with a track record of success in managing and motivating staff. You must also have a strong understanding of digital analytics, including ability to collect, analyse and interpret data to guide data-informed decision-making. You should have experience in managing a multilingual digital presence and familiarity of working in, or with partners from, the Global South.
