As part of our continued growth, we are currently recruiting an experienced Development Project Manager. Reporting to the Development Manager, Scotland you will be responsible for the following:-
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
- to assist and develop the new project opportunities for the Scottish business
- to project manage the development of windfarm projects in Scotland
- To review, develop and assess the financial, planning, environmental and technical elements of windfarm projects.
- to work with, manage and control external consultants effectively and efficiently
- to successfully deliver wind farm development
- To interact with Statutory and Non-statutory consultees
- To review and make recommendations on grid connection constraints, capacity and cost.
Candidate’s Experience and Skills :
• A high calibre individual with strong experience in project development but specifically project management, planning, environmental issues.
• Preferable hands on experience of development in the wind energy business
• Displays strong communication and interpersonal skills and has a track record of delivery
• Ability to represent Airtricity at a wide range of industry, regulatory and political forums
