Development Officer

Across Scotland we aim to safeguard and restore important woodlands and create new native woods. We have ambitious plans and in order to achieve these we need to raise funds. So that’s where you come in.

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional who can share our passion for the environment and who has an exceptional flair for fundraising and project management. You’ll be raising funds from a wide range of sources and especially grants and trusts so your attention to detail and your talent for communicating effectively whatever the level will be put to test.

Previous successful fundraising experience is essential ideally within the voluntary sector. You must have the ability to articulate the aims of the Trust confidently and persuasively and be good at developing and maintaining relationships with internal colleagues and external partners. You will have excellent organisational and planning skills and be able to multi-task to deliver work to tight deadlines.

Based at our Perth office, you must be prepared to travel both in Scotland and occasionally the rest of the UK, in particular to our Grantham headquarters.
