Description

World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a Development Officer to identify, cultivate, solicit and manage a portfolio of annual giving donors and prospects. In this role, the successful candidate will be the face of WWF for mid-level supporters known as Partners in Conservation. They will build and grow ongoing relationships with key individuals and help grow WWF’s pipeline for major gifts ($25,000+).

A Bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years of professional fundraising experience in portfolio/relationship management is required. Must have experience with prospect pipeline processes in a Development environment; possess an understanding of WWF's mission; and have the capacity to share WWF’s core values with current and prospective donors. Must be a team player who can also work independently, and must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of conservation/environmental issues is preferred.
