Description

World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a Foundation Relations Associate who will assist with coordinating, researching, writing and editing grant reports, concept notes and proposals to foundations. The Associate has responsibility for a small portfolio of WWF programs for fundraising and reporting, and is also assigned smaller, less complex reports and proposals across program areas. The Associate also manages the relationships with a portfolio of small to moderate-sized foundations under the supervision of the Deputy Director.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Experience writing or editing grant proposals and reports is also required. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is required, including either relevant programmatic experience or relevant grant writing experience. Knowledge of conservation/environmental issues is preferred. Experience with Team Approach database or other fundraising databases is a plus. The successful candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills, ability to write impeccable English, excellent organizational ability and use of standard development practices and techniques. This person will be able to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and work well as part of a collegial team.
