Description |
"Emissions what?" The European Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS) is probably the most important climate policy you may never have heard of. You and most others. Sandbag analyses this crucial tool that caps half of Europe's carbon emissions and brings the data to life through maps and hard-hitting reports. We outline what needs done to repair it and we lobby for the changes to be made. The difference our recommended actions would make is measured in the billions of tonnes of avoided pollution over the coming decades. Help us take the next step in the challenging task of making complex climate policy accessible to all those who have a stake in it. We are currently looking for a design intern to help us 2-3 days a week with a project to improve the way we communicate our research and data analysis, specifically creating an "ABC of carbon markets". This role is ideally suited to a recent graduate of a design related university program who wishes to gain work experience in the environmental sector. Extensive coverage of our work means potentially significant exposure for your creations! Job Description:
