Design Engineer (m/f) tower and foundations Offshore
Responsibilities:
- Planning and 3D-CAD design (using SolidWorks) of secondary structures (e.g. platforms, cranes, boat landings, etc.) for offshore substructures
- Mechanical design of the interface between tower and substructure
- Design calculations (strength assessment) of secondary structures
- Systematic compilation of the project-specific requirements for the secondary structures and the tower-substructure interface
- Documentation as well as internal and external presentations of the results, mainly in English
Profile:
- Degree in Engineering
- Several years of experience in working with SolidWorks are required
- Industry knowledge is an advantage
- Fluent command of English, both written and spoken
- Excellent analytical and well-structured mind
- Independent, results-oriented approach, complemented by confidence and team spirit
- Excellent communication skills
- Appreciation of the dynamic nature of the offshore wind power market and the associated changes that may be required at a corporate level
- Willingness to travel
