The Role
                        
Reporting to the chief communications director and communications and programme team, you will lead the development and implementation of 350.org’s global communication strategies. You will work across multiple platforms and countries to support global campaigns and lead and develop the global communications teams. You will also:

• Develop content and craft strategic communications
• Support and coordinate teams, ensuring rapid media response
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Skills Required
  
You will be an Asian-based senior communications expert with strong media contacts and a minimum of 5 years’ experience, with a deep understanding of climate and environmental issues, at least partly gained in an NGO.
Additionally you will have:

• Demonstrated skills in developing strategic and effective campaigns
• Proven experience managing and developing a communications team
• Excellent communication skills, including good English writing skills
• The ability to remain calm, positive and task focused under pressure
• A highly collaborative work style and experience working with multiple countries and multicultural teams
• The solid technical skills required of a communications leader, or the strong potential to step up
