Description

Do you thrive on managing the inner complexities of a membership database?

Do you have a passion for wildlife and want to protect it?

Surrey Wildlife Trust is Surrey’s leading environmental charity. We are a membership organisation co-ordinating the details of nearly 45,000 members who support Surrey Wildlife Trust through subscription donations, responses to appeals, corporate sponsorship and volunteering.

We have partnerships and stakeholders across the county and hold significant amounts of data and contact information.

This is a new role, joining the Trust as we move from Progress CRM to thankQ CRM. The role will be integral in ensuring the team is able to use the new system effectively for membership administration, volunteer management, managing GDPR obligations and reporting.

The Trust needs an experienced Database Development Officer who really understands the beneficial workings of a CRM database and how using the data can deliver business targets.

The Database Development Officer will also ideally be an expert in GDPR, ensuring compliance across the Trust’s activities.

A passion for data manipulation and analysis is essential; experience of managing a CRM system, loyalty or membership database, using high volume data, are necessary and the right candidate must be resourceful, self-disciplined and process driven with a strong understanding of database capabilities and their practical application. In depth experience of extracting data and analysis to inform management and financial decisions is essential.

If you can fulfil the criteria outlined on the job profile, and want to work in an organisation motivated to restore Surrey’s nature, please complete an application form and send it to sarah.jordan@surreywt.org.uk by midday on Wednesday 31st March 2021.

Job profile and application form available on our website www.surreywildlifetrust.org or by contacting Sarah Jordan Membership & Fundraising Manager.
