As Surrey’s leading  environmental charity, we are a membership organisation coordinating the details of nearly 30,000 members who support Surrey Wildlife Trust through subscription donations, responses to appeals, corporate sponsorship and volunteering.  We have partnerships and stakeholders across the county and hold significant amounts of data and contacts information.

The Trust needs an experienced Data Controller who really understands the beneficial workings of a membership and CRM database and how using the data can deliver business targets.  

This role will manage our database; project manage and support the implementation of ThankQ (currently Progress); ensure compliance with data protection and be the Trust’s “expert” in GDPR plus extend that expertise to other areas of the Trust and advise on the broader CRM data management.

A passion for data manipulation and analysis is essential  Experience of managing a CRM system, loyalty or membership database, using high volume data, are necessary and the right candidate must be resourceful, self disciplined and process driven with a strong understanding of database capabilities and their practical application  In depth experience of extracting data and analysis to inform management and financial decisions is essential.
