Description

The Creative Campaigner leads the development, production and curation of photo, video, design and multimedia content across Greenpeace Australia Pacific channels; content that inspires people to act for a green and peaceful future.

Key responsibilities:

  • Builds support and profile for Greenpeace and its campaigns in the Australia Pacific region
  • Actively monitor and engage with traditional and social media, identifying and capitalising on opportunities to deliver powerful content
  • Manage the Creative team, coordinating in-house and external agency multimedia production
  • Promote best practice standards for creative content production and distribution across the organisation.
  • Oversee archiving of multimedia material and manage and maintain the team’s allocated budget

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

As Creative Campaigner, you’re a creative director/producer/lead who wants to make content that changes the world for the better:

  • You know what the climate crisis will mean for people and planet, and you want to do something about it
  • You understand campaigning, and how good content can change real world outcomes; you can craft stories that affect and move the people who read them
  • You are an amazing producer and project manager, with strong leadership and facilitation skill snd you work best in time pressure environments, and like solving problems creatively
  • You can shoot, cut and edit footage, animate, illustrate and you feel at home in Adobe Creative Cloud suite (alternatively, you have tonnes of experience managing others to do so)
  • You’re a team player, and do your best work when working with others. You’ll know how to create content that respects and celebrate the diverse Greenpeace community across Australia and the Pacific
  • You know how to manage your time with multiple projects on the boil, while keeping an eye out for the crucial details in each piece

* Salary $81,218.76 per annum + superannuation
