My client is a leading system provider for solar technology. In addition to developing, manufacturing and marketing thin-film solar modules, it also supplies a continually expanding range of products and services for perfectly tailored PV systems.
Position Overview: The Country Sales Manager will be responsible for sales and results of commercial activities in the UK.
Responsibilities:-
- Attending and leading conferences/ meetings, discussions and workshops to represent the company
- Monitoring, sales analyses, following market trends
- The weekly/ monthly reporting of through CRM
- Informing the Head of International Sales Manager in Germany and negotiating about activities for the UK Market
- (International) trade show participation and/ or support
- Visit new potential customers and maintenance of the existing ones to achieve the sales target of the country
- Establish close relationships with customers, installers and partner
- Follow up of the entire sales process (from the quotation to the payment)
- Sales support to customers, complaints and resolution of critical incidents
- Coordination with technical department to give technical advice and support to customers
- Market research to understand specific needs of customers and what competitors are doing in the country
- Identifying and developing PV projects
Education:-
- · Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or comparable (Master’s degree a plus)
Core Requirements:-
- 3-5 years experience as sales manager and experience in the solar PV
- Experienced in setting up an effective strategic marketing plan
- Able to develop and implement with a clear vision for sales and pratical actions for the short and medium term
- Proven success in working and leading a sales team
- Experience in (net)working with engineers and installers is a preference
- Excellent PC skills (MS Office)
- Having knowledge of CRM systems and SAP is a preference
- Valid car license
General Requirements:-
- · Proficient with making impactful presentations
- Ability to work independently but within tightly controlled business policies
Key Skills:-
- Solar PV, negotiations experience, good technical knowledge, sales experience, solar product (wafers, ingots, modules and/or inveters) sales experience, fluency in English (any other European language is beneficial) and team leadership
