Description
Coquet Island, one of the RSPB's most exciting island reserves, is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person with the ability to assist in the day-to-day running of this SSSI. The post holder's main duty is to protect the sole UK breeding colony of roseate terns. Experience of seabird habitat management, a sound understanding of Health and Safety, face-to-face procedures and boat handling is an advantage. This job is particularly suitable for anyone with a love of wild places and is passionate about conservation. The post-holder will be required to live on the island during their contract - shared cottage provided rent free.
