This sea turtle sanctuary seeks a dedicated Coordinator to help manage its conservation and community engagement activities. This is a multifaceted role involving turtle camp coordination, environmental education, ecotourism, capacity building and community engagement.
The coordinator will assist and oversee conservation work, coordinate and help manage turtle volunteers, organize sanctuary visits, hatchling releases (for hotel guests) and night patrols (for hotel guests), write reports, and engage in fundraising and social media.
This is a great opportunity for a budding young professional to gain experience on the ground in community-based conservation.
The Sanctuary Coordinator receives free housing, 2 meals per day and a small stipend of US$200 a month, depending on experience.
