Contaminated Land Consultant, Southeast UK

My client is an environmental consultancy focusing primarily on contaminated land and land remediation. My client is keen to take on individuals at junior level to join a senior consultant on their large and complex projects. The ideal individual will have a strong academic background in contaminated land and be able to use this knowledge with ease onsite. The role will require constant liaison with the senior consultant managing the project as well as the managing director overseeing all of my client’s prominent projects. The role is extremely varied and will need someone who can quickly and readily adapt to a wide range locations and situations. The role needs some with a lively character and a sharp mentally to tackle a challenging range of projects while constantly learning about the area and the industry. This role also involves constant client facing as you will be required to explain your processes and the benefits of my client’s services to c-level client representatives.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• ·         Conducting contamination analysis through a variety of methods
• ·         Work with the senior contaminated land consultant to develop client solutions using the results from your analysis
• ·         Judge the most appropriate method and result of remediation efforts
• ·         Ensuring that clients are very well briefed on the solution strategy that you have developed and understand the requirements needed to undertake remediation

Requirements:

• ·         MSc in Contaminated land or closely related subject
• ·         Extended academic experience in contaminated land
• ·         Robust character and mindset
• ·         Full Clean UK Driving Licence
• ·         Excellent written and oral communication skills
