About the Job

As a Consumer Marketing and Operations (CMO) Specialist at OPOWER you will be an essential part of the CMO team. You will support the SVP, Consumer Marketing & Operations and the CMO team leaders while also providing cross-departmental administrative support with ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects. You will be expected to perform complex administrative tasks, often multi-tasking. You must demonstrate a strong work ethic, and possess first-rate communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling meetings/interviews and making travel arrangements for the SVP, Consumer Marketing & Operations and the CMO team leaders
  • Performing research on both customers and competitors
  • Maintaining information, recording meeting minutes, updating and organizing shared files
  • Creating and proof-reading/copy-editing documents, spreadsheets and presentation slide decks
  • Reaching out to people on behalf of the SVP, Consumer Marketing & Operations and managing his calendar
  • Coordinating CMO team events such Lunch and Learns and team-building exercises
  • Other duties as assigned, with an eye toward the Specialist’s career aspirations within OPOWER

 

About You

  • You have a Bachelor's degree and solid record of academic achievement,
  • You have 1-3 years of relevant experience, including the supporting high level executives in an administrative capacity and conducting research on their behalf
  • You have strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • You demonstrate outstanding pro-active, multi-tasking abilities and organizational skills
  • You have an acute attention to detail and follow through
  • You communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • You exhibit strong process-oriented skills and strive to find the most efficient way to do things without sacrificing a high quality of work and/or results
  • You have the ability to exercise judgment and maintain confidentiality
  • You must exhibit professionalism, poise, courtesy, and strong interpersonal skills
