Consultant - Sustainability Solutions

Ecofys-Navigant is currently recruiting for consultants to work within the Sustainability Solutions services line in our London, Utrecht and German offices.

As a Consultant at Ecofys-Navigant you will work on a range of projects domestically and abroad with both industry and public-sector clients. You will work on a diverse range of projects varying from assessing the environmental performance of products and corporate value chains, to working with governments to develop scenarios for a transition to a fully renewable global energy system.

You will be responsible for data gathering and analysis, industry research, writing reports, winning tenders, inspiring clients and presenting your findings to the team. In this role you will learn, be challenged and develop skills at a fast pace. In addition to hands-on experience, formal training programmes will teach you the diverse skills you need to succeed.

The Sustainability Solutions team

The Sustainability Solutions service line works with a range of client types in multiple global value chains to help them navigate the complex world of the energy transition and climate change, and realize sustainable and profitable products, processes and business models. Our strength lies in our strategic understanding of energy, climate and sustainability issues. Specifically, we help our clients address energy and climate risks, take corporate climate action, capture opportunities from the bio-based economy, develop and assess effective climate policy and realize industrial decarbonization.

Your profile

If you are enthusiastic about the job described above and you meet the following criteria, then we would be happy to meet you!

• You have a University degree qualified with outstanding academic results in natural sciences, engineering and/or a sustainability related degree, preferably combined with one or two years professional experience in the field of energy and/or climate analysis and policy;
• You have specific interest in carbon pricing, emissions trading, economic modelling or biofuels;
• You are a problem solver;
• You are a strong communicator, have networking skills and the ability to lead;
• You have strong analytical and conceptual skills;
• You are fluent in English, knowledge of another language is beneficial;
• You have the ambition to become an outstanding energy professional;
• You share our passion for sustainable energy.
