This is an exciting opportunity to work on a new European funded project across machair croftland on the Hebrides. You will manage the Machair LIFE + project on the Western Isles and Argyll Islands, planning, monitoring and auditing budgets, appointing and supervising contractors, managing project staff and writing reports as necessary. To report to a Steering Group comprising of the project partners; RSPB Scotland, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, Scottish Natural Heritage and Scottish Crofting Foundation. You will have staff and nature reserve management experience, excellent communication skills and know how to get the best out of a team. Knowledge of the natural history and culture of the Hebridean islands is desirable.
