This is an exciting opportunity to work on a new European funded project across machair croftland on the Hebrides. As full-time Advisory Officer, you will coordinate the production of guidance materials, management plans and demonstration events on the Western Isles and Argyll Islands, as part of Machair LIFE+ project, working in tandem with the crofting community to develop and implement agricultural management practices. You should possess excellent communication skills and have a knowledge of agricultural practices. Knowledge of the natural history and culture of the Hebridean islands is desirable.
