Conservation Technology Field Scientist

Conservación Amazónica – ACCA, is looking for a Conservation Technology Field Scientist to oversee a conservation technology Hub at Los Amigos Biological Station, Peru. This unique position offers the opportunity to work in the Amazon Rainforest and develop techniques and approaches to save it in collaboration with leading scientists. We are looking for a passionate professional with strong leadership and vision. This a career-building opportunity for an ambitious person who will take the initiative to bring in new funding, develop new projects and play the key role in determining the future of this effort.

The candidate should have implementing technologies in the field. Experience with data management, GIS, and remote sensing are also helpful. In addition, he/she will perform a wide range of activities to benefit the implementation and execution of the Hubs’ technological projects.
