Description |
Provide scientific support and advice to RSPB science, policy, advocacy and regional conservation staff. In particular, scientific input to casework (RSPB's engagement in development plans and projects potentially affecting birds and sites of conservation priority) will be an important aspect of the job. The post-holder will need to keep up to date with the scientific literature across a range of research topics and to rapidly assimilate and disseminate new information clearly and concisely. Development and maintenance of collaborative relations with regional and HQ staff in the RSPB and other partner organisations will be essential.
