Description
To design and test conservation measures aimed at improving the reproductive performance of turtle doves on British farmland. Fieldwork is likely to include territory mapping, radio-tracking and nest-finding. The successful applicant will also lead on the analysis and publication of existing ornithological data from previous research studies. Applicants should hold a PhD in ecology (or equivalent experience), have experience of using multivariate statistical techniques and the ability to publish in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Experience of fitting and monitoring radio tags is desirable.
