As a member of senior management team, you will design and implement comprehensive communications plans and programs. You will coordinate communications tasks and maintain positive relations with the public, the press, and electronic media. You will lead, motivate, and manage the Communications Department in order to ensure the achievement of the Communications objectives. You will enable, facilitate and cultivate the generation and subsequently approval of ideas from the Communications department. You will monitor the implementation of approved recommendations in order to improve congruence and overall effectiveness of Greenpeace communications, projects and campaigns. REQUIREMENTS: - University Degree, preferably in social science, journalism, marketing or , PR or equivalent disciplines; - Minimum 10 years work experience, at least 5 years in senior manager level, in marketing, corporate communication, or PR position, preferably with multinational companies, consultancy or non-government organizations; - Should have contacts in PRC and international media networks; - Good knowledge of strategic communications and marketing concepts, principles, methodology and techniques; - Have financial management and budgeting experience. - Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese) and English; Interested parties please send your Cover letter explaining why you are suitable for the post & full resume to Recruit@hk.greenpeace.org .
