World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading global conservation organization, seeks a Director of Communications, Forest Carbon Initiative (FCI) to develop and implement strategies and communications efforts to help advance the goals and objectives of the Forest Carbon Initiative (FCI). The Director ensures that FCI campaigns call attention to key emerging issues in the forest climate arena to inform the public and decision makers about their significance and also plans and implements strategies for assessing concerns and interests of key WWF constituencies. Other responsibilities include developing long-range communications planning for the FCI and participating in overall strategic planning.
Master’s Degree in a related field is required. At least ten years experience in managing the development of field program communications materials including strategic communications, visual communications, production systems and processes, and related technologies is required.
