About usAs the leading trade association for decentralised energy, the Association for Decentralised Energy (ADE) is setting the vision of a local, efficient, low carbon energy system which enables energy users to make the choices which work for them. We represent 160 interested parties from across the energy sector. Our office in Westminster is an exciting and dynamic place to work and our staff are passionate about making a difference. We work closely with decisionmakers at the forefront of energy policy to shape the future energy market in the UK. About the roleThe ADE is recruiting for a Public Affairs Officer or Manager (dependent on experience). This is an exceptional opportunity to support the Association for Decentralised Energy's (ADE) work to create a low carbon energy system that empowers energy users to make the best choices for their needs. You will be building and deepening the ADE’s political relationships and ensuring our messaging is always visible, compelling and respected at the highest levels. On a day-to-day basis you would be organising political engagement, adapting strategies as the political environment shifts, creating impactful communications, planning and delivering sector events and keeping the company website up to date. About you You must be:
