The Communications & Marketing Manager will be expected to support all departments across the business in internal and external communications. The job responsibilities are split over four main categories: marketing, event management, PR and internal communication. The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating and implementing a yearly strategy covering these areas which is in line with the company’s objectives.
Knowledge/Skills and Experience
- 2-3 years minimum experience in a marketing and communications role in a B2B business
- Able to create and implement a marketing strategy for REpower’s UK market, with responsibility for a substantial budget
- Excellent copywriting skills for both online and print materials
- Proven track record in managing successful events
- Comfortable with carrying out customer satisfaction interviews with high-level employees from REpower’s key customers
- Competent IT skills in the basic Microsoft Office package (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) is required, with an in depth knowledge of PowerPoint and Word essential, as well as experience of using desktop publishing software e.g. Adobe InDesign
- Experience of commissioning and working with external agencies e.g. for design and PR activities
