Communcations Executive

The function

The aim of this role is to manage a series of Client accounts and to ensure the smooth running of projects.

You will input into a wide variety of current and new projects. You will be liasing with clients, understanding their needs and developing projects for which you will be responsible for the day to day management and final completion. 

You will be providing expertise on all digital communications and social media and developing in house knowledge in this field.

You will be developing pitches, writing contracts and communicating and presenting information to clients.

This position is an ideal opportunity to work on all aspects of client work within a small but growing business. The position will offer opportunities to work with a wide variety of people at all levels in all types of organization.  

The skills that we are looking for:

Experience in developing digital communications and social media related communications strategies

Experience in planning and managing projects to agreed deadlines, within budget, and to quality standardsVery good writing skills in order to write press releases, presentations and oversee the quality of communications outputs

Ability to manage measurement systems to gauge the success and value of our work

Experience in new business development to identify opportunities and liaise with the business team to develop into new accounts

Excellent customer service experience to ensuring that all accounts are well serviced and kept up to date.

Ability to managing the media effectively to the benefit of our clients                                      

Minimum requirements

2 - 3 years work experience, preferably in a digital communications agency based role

Some knowledge of sustainability/CSR would benefit, but not essential

Good organisational skills and an ability to see projects through to successful conclusion

A real passion for environmental and social issues
