Commissioning Manager, South Germany

My Client is an internationally renowned technology enterprise working in the renewable energies space.  They specialises in the development and implementation of solar thermal power stations on the principle of the Fresnel collector technology. They are currently looking to hire a commissioning manager to overlook the start-up of an international solar thermal power station. The role carries a lot of responsibilities so they are looking for someone with a history of leadership and extensive experience in the solar thermal space.

Responsibilities will include but not be restricted to:

• Continuous supervision of the start-up in connection with optimization measures
• Financial and contractual monitoring of start-up
• Regular reporting and documentation of the project status and development

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in the solar thermal space
• Experience with a range of international start-ups of solar thermal power stations or complex plants
• Experience with  MSR (measuring, tax and control engineering)
• Experience in managing different teams around the world
• Strong decision-making ability
• Flexibility and ability to work in a team
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English
