Commercial-Scale Solar (PV) Project Engineer, New York, USA

My client is a leading European-based residential, commercial and utility-scale solar PV developer with subsidiaries across Europe and the US. With the continued growth in the market for large commercial scale projects, are looking to recruit two senior project engineers to join their team in New York.

Responsibilities:-

• Direct and supervise (on-site) commercial Photovoltaic Installation
• Planning and control of the necessary safety precautions (messages at assembly insurance, safety devices etc.)
• Produce technical detail designs
• Designed PV system from preliminary steps to completion for commercial projects; single-line diagram
• Perform technical and economic calculation for PV projects investment and money return flow charts

• With the aid of technical assistants supervise all project development, financing, construction, and commercialization

• Coordinated purchasing, permitting, and inspections
• Estimate the cost of projects and scheduling of new projects
• Involved in hiring, interviewing, evaluating and termination
• Develop bid specifications, supervise project meetings ensuring compliance

Requirements:-

• At least 5 years relevant work experience in the solar photovoltaic (PV)  industry with a proven track record  of working on commercial scale projects
• Strong educational background in Engineering
• Excellent problem solving skills with a track record of developing solutions for PV projects
• Good cash management experience
• NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer

• Must have very good knowledge in AutoCad
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and detecting realistic solutions
