Ihre Aufgaben

• Project Management of complex development projects in the field of CO2 emission reduction and avoidance projects (JI/CDM)
• Development of appropriate cooperation or acquisition concepts, including carbon finance structures (finance on CERs/ERUs, prepayment structures etc), preparation of offers, leading of Due Diligence processes
• Implementation and Lead of interdisciplinary expert teams including technical, commercial, legal and Kyoto process know-how (internal and external)
• Responsibility for all commercial issues regarding the project based on interaction and under support of central team functions (finance, tax, legal)
• Heading offer and contract negotiations for all relevant project contracts
• Risk analysis and assessment for the whole project lifetime in order to mitigate risks and prepare financial modelling including sensitivities
• Preparation of investment decision proposals within the team and to the EC&R board
• Focus Region: worldwide but focus on South East Asia and Middle East

• Leitung der interdisziplinären Experten-Teams (internes und externes technisches, kaufmännisches, rechtliches und Kyoto-Prozess-Know-how)
• kaufmännische Verantwortung für die Projekte mit Unterstützung durch zentrale Team-Funktionen (Finanzen, Steuern, Recht)
• Leitung aller projektrelevanten Angebots- und Vertragsverhandlungen
• Risikoanalyse und -bewertung für die gesamte Projektlaufzeit
• Erstellung von Entscheidungsvorlagen für Investitionen
• Fokus Region: weltweit, aber speziell Süd-Ost-Asien und Naher Osten

Ihr Profil

• Degree in engineering, energy economics, business administration or economics with a strong technical background
• At least 5 years of experience in the field of development and/or implementation of power plant projects in an international environment (especially outside EU)
• Know How in the field of Carbon Abatement Projects, the Kyoto Mechanisms and commercial contractual structures in this field (ERPAs, Prepayment and Carbon Finance Structures) is a plus but not mandatory
• Ability to connect technical with commercial and legal aspects of the projects, ability to manage the internal and external interfaces of a project
• Highly developed communication & interpersonal skills to establish effective cross-functional and cross-cultural working relationships
• Ability to work independently, willingness to take initiative, and high level of commitment
• Enjoy working in an international environment
• Given our Market Unit language is English, fluent written and spoken English is essential, however other languages are an asset (e.g. German)
• Willingness to travel

• Abgeschlossenes Studium (Maschinenbau, Energiewirtschaft, Wirtschaftswissenschaften) mit einem starken technischen Hintergrund
• Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung auf dem Gebiet der Entwicklung und/oder der Umsetzung von Kraftwerk-Projekten im internationalen Umfeld (insbesondere außerhalb der EU)
• Know How auf dem Gebiet von Projekten zur CO2 Vermeidung, der Kyoto-Mechanismen sowie kaufmännischer vertraglicher Strukturen in diesem Bereich (ERPA, Prepayment und Carbon Finance Structures) ist ein Plus, aber nicht zwingend
• Fähigkeit, technische mit kaufmännischen und rechtlichen Aspekten der Projekte zu verbinden sowie interne und externe Schnittstellen eines Projekts zu koordinieren
• ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Sozialkompetenz um eine wirkungsvolle, funktionsübergreifende und interkulturelle Zusammenarbeit aufzubauen
