The occupant of this position will manage the Northern Territory (NT) Climate Services group. This group is part of the Bureau’s Climate Services Program and has a strong focus on maintaining and developing climate services for the NT, and monitoring of the tropical climate over the Darwin Regional Specialised Meteorological Centre area of analysis responsibility, which is 40N-40S, 70E-180. The position takes the leading role in managing the day to day operations of the NT Climate Services Centre, including the coordination of a range of climate data and climate monitoring related products and projects.
