Climate Change Programme Manager - Ref: EE08322 Salary: G10 £40,478 - £45,495 Contract: Permanent, full time As Climate Change Programme Manager you will be responsible for leading the organisations approach to the climate change emergency and delivering the climate change action plan. You will co-ordinate the climate change task force and project manage the outputs from this group. There is a clear need to update and improve the action plan and to develop a Strategy for Climate Change, which is an important function of the role. You would also be responsible for developing the climate change team, with the recruitment of further posts. The Council has ambitions to achieve Net Zero by 2041 alongside the West Midlands Combined Authority. If appointed to this role you will join the Healthy Spaces and Environment Team in the Place and Environment Directorate. Walsall Council is a great place to work.
