Climate Change Auditor

ERM is looking for a suitable candidate to join its climate change team. Based in Beijing, your role will be to support the full range of ERM’s climate change services, including the validation and verification of Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects. 

The successful candidate will have: 

• ·         Master degree or above in engineering or science, preferably environmental related subjects
• ·         1-2 years experience in CDM validation / verification projects
• ·         Knowledge in one or more CDM methodologies, e.g., industrial gas, energy efficiency, CBM/CMM, methane gas, fuel-switch, renewable energy projects, etc.
• ·         Good working knowledge of environmental monitoring, EIA, environmental management system, climate changes activities
• ·         Native Mandarin speaker with excellent writing skills
• ·         Excellent English speaking and writing skills
• ·         Excellent analytical skills and ability to work in a team
• ·         Experience in project management and client liaison would be an advantage
• ·         Environmental compliance experience in the process, energy or electric/gas utility sectors would be an advantage
