£24,952 - £39,125 PA Incl Advising on everything from transport to water, mineral resources to building developments, this is an opportunity to make a major contribution to the climate change agenda within Hertfordshire. Working on a wide range of planning projects, you’ll provide guidance and direction on the environmental implications of changes in the built environment and ensure we meet our Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) responsibilities. A good grounding in planning, including a relevant qualification is important. Experience of environmental and climate change policy and legislation in relation to development would be helpful, but is not essential as training can be provided. An excellent communicator, able to wield influence at all levels of the organisation, you’ll also need strong project management skills.
