Description

We are specifically looking for a Sales Executive to cover accounts in the Eastern US. The expectation is that this candidate will be located and work out of the Washington, DC-area headquarters. The ideal candidate will initiate, develop and secure relationships with Utility customers for the delivery of OPOWER's core analytics, reporting, and behavioral insight products. We are looking for an experienced sales person who is smart with high-horsepower, who has proven experience growing new and exciting account revenue with 7 figure deals, and who has experience selling directly to large, complex organizations (particularly utilities).
There is a clear expectation for the Sales Executives to demonstrate specific and current domain expertise, which can be leveraged from day one to quickly build a strong business pipeline and to meet sales targets. Additionally, this person will be responsible for growing existing accounts. As a result, only candidates who meet the following baseline criteria will receive consideration for this role.
