Job Skills/Requirements
Position responsibilities:
Learn about the specific services Summit Energy provides clients
Support the Client Energy Manager in setup and implementation for new clients
Support the development of the client Strategic Energy Plan
Support the Client Energy Manager in execution of the Strategic Energy Plan from the customers perspective, and provide regular reports to customers (internal/external)
Support the Client Energy Manager in managing all aspects of the ongoing client relationship ensuring that the client recognizes all facets of value being delivered by Summit, both strategic and tactical.
Track all energy activity related to clients and pro-actively elevate client savings opportunities, coordinate internal resources necessary to deliver those savings, and track progress against energy plan.
Prepare and participate in client presentations (internal and external)
Essential skills and qualifications:
High commitment to company vision and values
Bachelors degree preferred, along with a minimum of 1-5 years experience in a service industry with some direct customer-interface experience either in sales or client relationship, or equivalent experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Office Products
Proven track record of providing excellent customer service internally and externally
Effective working in team environment
Available and accessible to clients throughout the day with a spirit of customer service
Willingness to travel on regular, but limited basis
Attention to detail; ability to critically assess date, reports, etc. on behalf of client
Non-Essential skills and qualifications:
Prior energy industry experience preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of energy industry and demonstrated ability to identify cost-savings or value generating opportunities and effectively communicate them to various parties a plus
Overall energy commodity, risk management, or DSM experience a plus
Advanced computer proficiency
