Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) is a mechanism under the Kyoto Protocol that is designed to help industrialized countries meet their target for reducing greenhouse gas emission by providing incentives to developing countries in the forms of ‘carbon credits’ for projects that are successful at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. · Provide advice to clients on climate change related issues, including risks and opportunities for greenhouse gas emission reduction · Work closely with client to prepare Project Design Documents (PDDs) for submitting to the UNFCCC · Coordinate with international organisations for validation and verification of the CDM projects · Coordinate with Thai authority for approval of CDM projects
· Master's / Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Economics Engineering or equivalent · Minimum 3 years of experience in related field is preferred · Excellent with common computer applications · Excellent communication skills both written and oral in English and Thai are essential · Self motivated, willingness to learn and able to work under pressure · Strong presentation, analytical , planning and organizational skills · Good interpersonal skills · Able to carry work in a systematic and logical way · Must be willing to travel on project work Any career queries please email ermcareers@erm.com |
