An experienced program support person; performs difficult and/or specialized programmatic, content driven, bilingual multi-lateral activities in addition to routine administrative assignments to assist with all EDF China’s programmatic, communication and operation related work in the New York City office.
Key Responsibilities
Tasks will include but are not limited to:

Manage schedule, organize meetings and conference calls as required;

Support meetings and document meeting via excellent note-taking and meeting minutes

Process expense reports and submits program-related invoices for programmatic initiatives

Administer and help draft contracts for consultants and vendors
-
Organize and maintain electronic and paper files
-
Help to coordinate project activities and prepare correspondence and reports as needed
-
Facilitate in internal and external information collection, translation, summary and compilation
-
Apply excellent organizational and planning skills in preparing written products, responding to information requests, and track activities among staff members
-
Assist with research and analysis related to key program goals
-
Assist with programmatic internal document and materials development and production
-
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
-
High school diploma required; university degree highly desired
-
At least 2 years of work experience in fast-paced, detail-oriented environments. Administrative experience is preferred

Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, verbal and written required
-
Meticulous attention to detail and organizational abilities
-
Excellent oral and written communications ability
-
Ability to work independently, and successfully handle and prioritize diverse, simultaneous tasks
-
Proven record to work bilaterally or in international organizations preferred
-
Proficiency in the use of PCs and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Interest in environmental advocacy is preferred
