Description

A leading provider of solar solutions to the domestic market is currently recruiting for a Channel Sales Manager to join their team in California.  With aggressive expansion plans over the next 3-5 years this is an exciting opportunity for an established sales manager to really make a mark on the business.

Position Overview:

You will be responsible for managing relationships and improving sales through current channel partners as well as developing relationships with new channel partners.  You will work to achieve targets in order to achieve the companies overall sales goals.

Responsibilities:-

  • ·         Identify new clients within the US market
  • ·         Promote and sell relevant solutions
  • ·         Develop strong relationships with end users and channel partners
  • ·         Maximize revenue through new orders

Education:-

  • ·         Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in relevant subject

Core Requirements:-

  • At least 5 years relevant work experience selling solar power technology
  • A strong track record of success in developing relationships with channel partners
  • ·         A strong understanding of the domestic solar market

General Requirements:-

  • Ability to travel
  • ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation
  • ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
  • ·         Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
