Provide administrative support to the Director of the Market Transformation Center, by responding to complex requests for information and services. Coordinate with other center administrative staff to support center leadership team including the Group and Section Managers and Technology Deployment Managers. Create, maintain and/or distribute full range of correspondence, reports, documentation, records, presentations and processes. Develop and implement records management and support processes and systems. Work with the center administrative team to facilitate overall center operations and administrative needs. Responsibilities require high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity.
Support the Center Director for Market Transformation with administrative assignments to include, but not limited to document and presentation preparation, communication with other parts of the lab and outside customers and contractors, and development and maintenance of filing system for center records management.

Maintain Center Director calendar, coordinate meetings, arrange logistical needs, organize meetings and conference calls with several organizations, as needed. Serve as the first line of contact for calls and information requests coming to Center Director.

Work with center administrative team to facilitate overall center operations and administrative needs and ensure efficient operation of the center. As assigned or requested, provide administrative support to Technology Deployment Managers and other leadership team members.

Provide administrative support to staff or projects involving procurement, budget and tracking, information management. Lead and/or participate in special projects, such as office space coordination, SharePoint site maintenance, and metrics tracking.

Follow all policies and procedures to ensure and maintain a safe working environment, as well as proper use of government funds and resources.
High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience.

Or, relevant Associate's Degree or certification program of comparable scope and 2 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience.
Considerable knowledge of specialized focused business support functions. Complete understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the business support activities, and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered.

Experienced skills in applicable software packages and office equipment. Demonstrated project administration skills. Full knowledge of specific principles, procedures and practices related to supported fields and disciplines. Strong written and verbal communication skills, team and interpersonal skills.
Four years of relevant administrative support experience working with senior level management. Advanced working knowledge of principles, procedures, and practices related to the administrative-support field, and of Microsoft Office software esp. Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong problem solving skills. Proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision and direction.

Ability to handle confidential material and information. Attention to detail and quality control on products is essential.

Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant discipline. 10-15 years of relevant administrative support experience. Advanced knowledge of principles, procedures and practices related to administrative support field. Intermediate to advanced skills in computer operations including MS Office Suite, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, electronic filing systems and the implementation and use of new computer methods is required. Proficient communication and customer service skills needed.
