CDM Project Manager, Munich, Germany

My client has a leading market position in their field, operating over several continents with one of the most enviable portfolios in the renewable industry.  They are a leading global business, generating vast amounts of revenue each year as one of the most important and established companies within the sector.

They are currently looking to bring on board an experienced Project Manager who will be able to contribute to the continued success and maximize the delivery of CERs from CDM projects.

Position Overview:

My client is seeking a CDM project manager to look after multiple projects, along with providing CDM/JI regulatory support and advisory, having direct involvement in the implementation of key projects throughout Europe. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate to establish your name as a key player in the market and as well as an opportunity to develop new contacts across the global market.

Responsibilities:-

• ·         Be heavily involved in the writing of detailed PDDs
• ·         Preparing validation and verification of projects whilst working with project partners and third parties
• ·         Maintaining good client relationships and interacting with project developers
• ·         Sucessful implementation of consulting projects
• ·         Managing the CDM/VDR project cycle
• ·         Oversee the prioritization of assignments, budgets and to organize and direct the flow of work to meet both internal and external expectations
• ·         Developing strategies, plans and goals on a global scale with industry leaders
• ·         Proactively source new business.
• ·         Coordinating and managing on a regional basis

Education:-

• ·         A degree in renewable energy, environmental sciences, engineering or related field

Core Requirements:-

• 3-5 years experience working within the carbon market

• ·         An ideal candidate will bring with them a transferable client base within the industry
• ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
• ·         Have followed at least two carbon projects from initial assessment through to validation and verification.
• ·         Be able to understand the total project operation including material procurement, forecasting, manufacturing and on-time delivery.
• ·         Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

General Requirements:-

• Ability to travel
• Fluency in German is desirable

• ·         Ability to work under deadline pressure and deliver high quality results
