They are currently looking to bring on board an experienced project manager who will be able to contribute to the continued success and maximize the delivery of CERs from CDM projects.

Core Criteria:

My client is seeking a CDM project manager to look after multiple projects throughout Malaysia and the rest of Asia. The successful candidate must have a  minimum 3-5 years previous project management experience with a proven track record in CDM and emission reduction projects

Responsibilities:

• ·         Take the lead and ensure that CDM/JI/emission reduction projects are fully compliant with contractual and customer requirements.
• ·         Identify, assess and create project development opportunities throughout the UK and Europe
• ·         Be heavily involved in the writing of detailed PDDs
• ·         Follow the projects through to validation and verification
• ·         Oversee the prioritization of assignments, budgets and to organize and direct the flow of work to meet both internal and external expectations
• ·         Coordinating and managing on a regional basis
• ·         Proactively source new business.
• ·         Developing strategies, plans and goals on a global scale with industry leaders

Skills and qualifications needed:

• ·         Have a minimum of 2years experience in working on CDM projects in a technical capacity
• ·         Have followed projects from initial assessment through to validation and verification.
• ·         Be able to understand the total project operation including material procurement, forecasting, manufacturing and on-time delivery.
• ·         An ideal candidate will bring with them a transferable client base within the industry
• ·         Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
• ·         A good candidate will have a strong educational background in business development or related study.
• ·         Fluent in spoken and written English.
