This is a unique opportunity in a well financed US based power company looking to establish a CDM business in South East Asia. The operation will be based out of Kuala Lumpar, and cover the entire region with a focus on Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines. Sector wise it will involve Biomass, Palmoil, Starch, Landfill Gas among others. The firm are initially looking for two CDM professionals;
- One to cover the commercial aspect particularly Origination of suitable projects within the region - One to cover the technical due diligence, including writing PDD managing the CDM lifecycle through validation and verification through to issuance.The relevant professionals will have at least five years experience in a similar role, and ideally will already be based in KL, or at least be prepared to work there.Fluency in English is a must, with fluency in at least one local language a distinct advantage.
