CDM Auditor, Indonesia

My client provides investment consultancy services to its clients into the global energy and industry markets. They are currently looking for a CDM (clean development mechanism) Auditor to assist them in their CDM ventures.

Position Overview:

My client is currently looking for a CDM auditor who has an extensive technical knowledge of the entire CDM cycle. You will have a strong understanding of all aspects of the CDM cycle from origination and conducting feasibility studies to validation, verification and registration. This is a key hire for my clients and are looking for strong candidates who can integrate well into a multicultural environment and can be relied upon to look after such projects with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have experience in working for a renewable energy company and will have a good working knowledge of power generation.

Responsibilities:

• ·         Will be working both autonomously and in a team environment
• ·         Estimate the project potential for the generation of CERs
• ·         Conduct continuous due diligence on projects to ensure that they are completed to the highest standards
• ·         Review data from multiple CDM projects
• ·         Assess the viability of registration for such CDM projects

Education:

• ·         BSc or MSc in engineering, environmental science, management or related fields

Core Requirements:

• ·         Have at least 3-5 years experience in the CDM industry
• ·         Have a strong working understanding of power generation
• ·         Have experience in liaising with DOEs
• ·         Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
• ·         Fluent in English
• ·         Must have a strong technical knowledge of the entire CDM cycle through registration

General Requirements:

• ·         Be willing to work out Indonesia
• ·         Knowledge of the Kyoto Protocol
• ·         Additional languages are preferable
