1 February 2009 to July 31 2009. Applicants must have previous seabird survey experience, preferably in the tropics, and know that they are not susceptible to seasickness. This is a physically demanding position which requires hiking long days in the hot sun and pre-dawn wake-ups. The vessel is expected to call on 11 islands and their respective islets, spending 1-3 weeks at each island group. EPIC will pay airfare from South Florida to St. Maarten and from Trinidad back to South Florida. On-board meals are provided. All other expenses are the responsibility of the intern.
