We are looking to recruit a Scientific Officer to help with our extensive programme of land based environmental research

Skills/abilities required
• A knowledge of environmental science (preferably to degree level or equivalent) with particular reference to water, soil and air measurements
• An enthusiasm for catchment and field based experiments and research
• An ability to collect and process experimental data
• Willingness to work out doors all year round with some lone working
• Confident communicator as liaison with local farmers is a key activity both to gain access to sites for sampling and to collect farm practice data.

Salary Range: £ 16,920 to 18,800 depending on experience and qualifications
Locations: ADAS UK Ltd, Milton Park, Abingdon, Oxford and ADAS Gleadthorpe, Meden Vale, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

On the job training will be given which may involve periods working at other ADAS offices.
