Carbon Sourcing Manager, London, UK

My client is a global player in the Carbon market and provides companies with the tools and services necessary to measure their carbon emissions and . They are currently looking for a carbon sourcing manager to advise on the potential of CDM (clean development mechanism) projects in generating credits.

Position Overview:
My client is currently looking for a carbon sourcing manager with who has prior and proven track record in the carbon markets. This candidate will be responsible for screening and reviewing carbon offset projects for the purpose of purchasing credits.

Responsibilities:
? Conduct due diligence on projects
? Screen and analyse projects for their potential for generating credits
? Report to the Head of Carbon Sourcing
? Interact with internal teams and liaising with project developers/owners to analyze feasibilities.

Education:
? BSc or MSc in environmental management or related fields

Core Requirements:
? Have 3-5 years experience in the carbon market
? Must have a strong technical understanding of the carbon market
? Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
? Fluent in English
? Must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction

General Requirements:
? Will be willing to work in London
